Collie Dog Variant - 8 mm Nickel Tube

The original Collie Dog is a classic Scottish pattern from the late 19th century. It's an excellent example of how a salmon fly can be extremely simple, but at the same time amazingly effective. This is an Orange Variant tied on a 8 mm Nickel tube of the original Collie Dog. This fly is an absolute winner in Iceland salmon rivers and should be in every fly box.
